Yusoff takes four hours polygraph test on molest claim

KUALA LUMPUR: Muhammed Yusoff Rawther has undergone a polygraph test in Bukit Aman in connection with his allegation that he was molested by PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Oct 2 last year.

A Bernama check at Bukit Aman showed that Yusoff entered the federal police headquarters at 3pm and left at 8.40pm yesterday.

His lawyer Datuk Mohamed Haniff Khatri Abdulla said they were satisfied with the polygraph test, which was conducted by three police officers from 4.30pm to 8.30pm.

“The results of the test were submitted to the police to complete their investigations into the case,” he said.

Last month, Yusoff made a statutory declaration alleging that he was molested by Anwar but it was denied by the PKR president, who said he was campaigning for the Port Dickson by-election at the time of the alleged incident.

Following that, police opened an investigation paper and called up Yusof and Anwar to have their statements recorded.
