Sex video: Deputy minister interrogated for 5 hours
PUCHONG: Primary Industries Deputy Minister Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin was interrogated for five hours over claims made by Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz against Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali.
Shamsul’s currently suspended private secretary – Haziq – claimed that he was the one in the sex video clips that has gone viral.
“Cooperating with the police in the investigation on Haziq Aziz since 7.15pm. Now it’s almost 11.15pm. Still holding up and going through the voice recordings,” Shamsul wrote on his Facebook.
He also posted an update around two hours later to thank supporters who accompanied him.
Prior to the grilling at the Melaka state police headquarters, Shamsul confirmed that Haziq was suspended with immediate effect and was given a show cause letter to respond to the allegations.
He also said that Haziq has gone absent without leave (AWOL) since the scandal erupted on Tuesday.
Haziq who was arrested yesterday at KLIA is currently out on police bail as he was wanted for allegedly committing four offences.
The four are having carnal intercourse against the order of nature, distribution of obscene material, intending to provoke a breach of public peace and misuse of network facilities.
