Self-reflect in front of the mirror, Anwar
KUALA LUMPUR: PKR number two Datuk Seri Azmin Ali has called upon his party chief Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to self-reflect on his own self in front of the mirror.
“Read my lips – tell him, he must look at the man in the mirror,” he told journalists at the Parliament lobby.
“Ask Anwar to self-reflect (muhasabah). Please reflect at his own face,” he said when asked to elaborate.
Earlier today, Anwar had a contrasting stand over Azmin compared to Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
“It is subject to whether the police or the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission have ascertained the veracity of the video.
“And if he is identified conclusively, then he needs to resign,” said Anwar during a press conference at the Parliament lobby today.
Mahathir had said that Azmin need not go on leave until the probe on the video was complete.
As for the record, Anwar has been linked of having relationships with men in the past, with the last being Saiful Bukhari Azlan but he had not given up his positions during his time in BN government and PKR.
