Rafizi need to reconsider the intention to retire from politics- Aminuddin
SEREMBAN: Negeri Sembilan PKR chairman Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun urges PKR vice-president Mohd Rafizi Ramli to reconsider his intention to retire from politics.
Aminuddin, who is also Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar, said this was because he was a figure who could move further ahead in the political arena in this country.
“We should not lose a political figure who could truly struggle to ensure that changes could be carried out well.
“As a friend, I urge him to reconsider his intention so that the people in this country do not lose someone who is capable of giving his views, ideas and sentiments to see that democracy could proceed smoothly,” he told reporters after chairing the State Exco meeting, here today.
He said this when asked to comment on Mohd Rafizi’s intention to retire from politics.
On Nov 15, Mohd Rafizi was reported to have said he was not interested to return to active politics for the time being, saying that within the next three to four years he only wanted to be an ordinary citizen.
