Perak signs up Brazilian De Paula

IPOH: The Perak Football Association (PAFA) has secured the services of former Kuala Lumpur player Guilherme De Paula for the Malaysian League next season.

Team manager Datuk Adly Shah Ahmad Tah said the Brazilian had signed a one-year contract and would begin training with The Bos Gaurus on Dec 28.

He said De Paula was picked following discussions with coach Mehmed Durakovic.

“We opted for him partly because of his quality and experience playing for Malaysian League teams like Selangor, PDRM and Kuala Lumpur,” he told Bernama when contacted today.

De Paula, 33, had helped Selangor win the Malaysia Cup in 2015 and was a key player of Kuala Lumpur when they won the Premier League in 2017.
