KUALA LUMPUR, June 6 — The supply of essential goods in Malaysia remains stable despite ongoing uncertainties in global supply chains, says Mydin Mohamed Holdings Bhd (Mydin) managing director Datuk Dr Ameer Ali Mydin.
He said careful planning by the retail sector and the smooth operation of the domestic agricultural industry have strengthened confidence that food supplies for the local market remain secure.
Ameer Ali said uninterrupted planting and harvesting activities, supported by sufficient agricultural inputs such as fertilisers, have helped maintain market stability, with no signs of shortages in the near future.
