Fear not, truth will prevail says embattled Azmin
PUCHONG: Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali who described the current sex video clip as the “most trying time” for him is confident that the “truth will prevail” and clear him from the ongoing controversy.
He took to Twitter to address his friends and well-wishers.
“To all friends and well-wishers, Thank you for your kind and reassuring words, thoughts and prayers. I am deeply grateful for the support and care you have shown me in this most trying time but fear not for the truth shall prevail and we shall overcome. In God we trust.”
Azmin has been implicated in a series of gay sex video clip. The first video clip that went viral featured a man resembling him on Tuesday.
A day later, Primary Industries Deputy Minister Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Md Akin’s now suspended private secretary Haziq Aziz claimed that he was the one in the video with Azmin.
A second video clip was released a day later several hours after Azmin denied all the allegations.
Haziq was arrested yesterday and is expected to be out on bail once the police probe is complete.
