Tun Mahathir receives courtesy call from new Johor MB

PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad today received a courtesy call from the newly-appointed Johor Menteri Besar Dr Sahruddin Jamal at his office in Perdana Putra here.

Dr Sahruddin was sworn in as the 17th Menteri Besar of Johor last Sunday.

The picture of their meeting was posted on Dr Mahathir´s Twitter page.

Dr Sahruddin was the Johor Health, Environment and Agriculture Committee chairman before he replaced Datuk Osman Sapian, who resigned from the post of Menteri Besar on April 8.

Apart from the Prime Minister, the menteri besar also paid a courtesy call on Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali.
