Training centre resolves dispute with union leaders

SUBANG: The Allied Aeronautics Training Centre Student Union (AATCSU) clarified that the issues they have raised have been resolved with the return of their chairman and secretary who was expelled.

“The AATC cancelled the expulsion letter to the chairman and secretary effective immediately and allowed them to continue their course,” said the union in a statement.

“Education loan from the Skill Development Fund Incorporated (PTPK) would be made available to AATC students soon,” added the union based on a meeting that was held today.

The meeting with the training centre management was chaired by Human Resources Minister M Kulasegaran.

Today’s meeting did not include union advisor Sharan Raj who is also PSM central committee member on the request of the college which was accepted. Instead, Sharan requested for the parents of students to be included in the meeting.

The centre under the spot light recently when union decided to stage a demonstration against the management after their chair and secretary were dismissed due to their demands for student loans.
