The foodie in you might just exclaim in joy after reading this piece on a big, fat, juicy burger. But the fact that it is one of the most expensive burgers in the world could actually kill your excitement slightly.

Nevertheless, no harm in knowing the fact that the Golden Giant Burger, that is served at The Oak Door Steakhouse at The Grand Hyatt, Tokyo, is one of the world’s most expensive burgers, priced at $US1, 000 or RM 4151.

Business Insider reports that the Golden Giant burger is available at 100,000 JPY or one thousand dollars and was introduced in Tokyo off late to celebrate the reign of the new emperor. Now, now, how about learning of the contents of the burger?

We’ll tell you. The burger weighs 3kg and measures 15cm in height. It is loaded with a one-kilo beef patty. Yes, that’s right. Gold leaf dust is sprinkled on the bun while a bottle of Champagne, red, or white wine accompanies it.

As per the report in Business Insider, Chef Patrick Shimada is responsible for the idea behind the Golden Giant burger and around eight people can gorge on it.
