Thunderstorms warning for Perak, Sabah, Sarawak
KUALA LUMPUR: The Meteorological Department has forecast thunderstorms with heavy rain and strong winds in some areas in Perak, Sabah and Sarawak which it said will persist till midnight today.
In a statement, it said the areas likely to be affected in Perak were Kerian, Larut, Matang and Selama as well as Kuala Kangsar while in Sabah, similar conditions were expected in Pedalaman (Sipitang).
In Sarawak, Serian, Samarahan (Simunjan), Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei (Pakan, Julau and Meradong), Sibu (Sibu and Kanowit), Kapit, Bintulu, Miri (Subis, Beluru, Miri and Marudi) and Limbang would experience such conditions.
