Albania boycotts Nobel prize awards ceremony as ‘genocide denier’ conferred

TIRANA: Albania will boycott this year’s Nobel prize award ceremony in protest against the literature award being given to author Peter Handke. Handke is a controversial figure as he had dismissed the 1992-1995 Bosnian genocide as ‘fake’ in the past.
