Sushant Singh Rajput case: Flatmate Siddharth Pithani to be named as a co-conspirator, says family’s lawyer

The Supreme Court is scheduled to pronounce on Wednesday its verdict on the jurisdiction matter of Sushant Singh Rajput death case. Meanwhile, the case is getting more and more complicated as new pieces of evidence are emerging with each passing days.

Now, according to an entertainment portal, Sushant’s flatmate Siddhart Pithani will be named as the co-conspirator in the case. Reportedly, SSR‘s family’s lawyer Vikas Singh stated that after Siddhart changed his stance, they suspected it to be murder and not abetment to suicide by Rhea Chakraborty. He further said that they will be adding his name to the FIR soon.

When the senior advocate was asked about Rhea being the nominee of Sushant’s insurance policy, he stated that she cannot be the beneficiary as the Indian law do not permit a person who is in a live-in relationship with the deceased to be legal heirs without a will.

Meanwhile, the Centre had earlier informed the apex court that it has accepted the recommendation of Bihar government for CBI probe into the FIR lodged at Patna by Rajput’s father who has accused Chakraborty and six others of various offences including abetment of suicide.
