Sex video: Is Haziq telling the truth?

PUCHONG: The sex video purportedly filming a Cabinet Minister having homosexual intercourse with another man went viral yesterday.

The expose even had the attention of Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who claimed ignorance of the matter when asked by the press.

Today, Muhammad Haziq Abdul Aziz put up a video on his Facebook, claiming to be man in the sex video with the alleged minister.

“I, Haziq Haziz… made a sworn confession that I am the individual with… [the minister’s name is mentioned] in the video which went viral yesterday.

“The video was taken without my permission on May 11 (during the) Sandakan by-election [in Sabah] in the [minister’s] room at Hotel Four Points,” he claimed.

Although he had named the minister in the video, The Leaders Online chose to withhold his name until the allegation can be verified.

But did the minister accused really had sex with Haziq on May 11 as alleged by the latter?

One social media netizen called Ratu Naga claimed that Haziq was not telling the truth.

Ratu Naga said that on the day when the sex act was supposed to have taken place, the minister mentioned was not even in Sabah but was in Kuala Lumpur.

She posted snapshots of the minister’s Tweet on May 11, showing the latter being in Istana Negara with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Cabinet Ministers and foreign dignitaries for a breaking of fast function.

“The minister has the King as an alibi. Can you see the dangers of slander?” asked Ratu Naga.

The minister implicated has yet to respond on the matter at press time.

Haziq, 27, is a private secretary to Primary Industries deputy minister Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin.
