SAR for Nora Anne continued for 24 hours
NILAI: The Search and Rescue (SAR) operation for 15-year-old girl Nora Anne Quoirin, an Irish national, is continued for 24 hours with the night search being carried out on land.
Nilai District Police Chief, Supt Mohd Nor Marzukee Besar said the SAR operation, since the first day the victim was reported missing, would be continued without stopping even at night.
“We still continued the night SAR operation except for the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) Air Wing Unit which will carry out the search in the day time,” he told Bernama, here today.
A check by Bernama revealed that members of the security forces were seen controlling the route heading to The Dusun, Pantai, here and media personnel were also not allowed to be in the area as it was too dark and dangerous.
