Putrajaya Hospital lodged police report over two viral videos
PUTRAJAYA: Putrajaya Hospital has lodged a police report over two viral videos that have allegedly tarnished the image and credibility of the hospital’s staff and medical officers involved in COVID-19 fight.
Its director Datuk Dr Nora’i Mohd Said in a statement yesterday said, one of the videos believed to belong to a celebrity with high viewership impact.
The second video was from YouTube Channel, which belongs to another celebrity who supported the issue raised by the first celebrity, she said.
She said the videos contained abusive words towards health personnel involved.
“We take this issue seriously and are disappointed over the viral videos,” she said.
Nora’i said, the hospital management wanted the authorities to investigate the two videos and take appropriate actions against the individuals involved.
