PSM Annual Forum: Did anything change in Malaysia Baru?

Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) invites the people to attend its annual forum that has been taking place since 2005.

The forum is all about debating national issues, workers’ rights, socio-economic, environmental and international issues from the socialist and leftist perspective.

The details of the forum are as follows:

Date: 24th November 2019 (Sunday)

Time: 9am till 5pm

Venue: Kuala Lumpur-Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall

Theme: Malaysia: What’s New?

In line with its theme, our panellists will be discussing Malaysia’s new era since Pakatan Harapan took over federal powers.

Among the issues that will be discussed on whether is it truly a new Malaysia? What has changed? Are we free from / have we solved the racial and religious issues left behind by Umno and Barisan Nasional?

The esteemed panellists participating in the forum are:

Prof Dr. Tajuddin Bin Mohd Rasdi from UCSI

Dr Sharifah Munirah Alatas from UKM

Prof Terence Gomez Economics, Lecturer at Universiti Malaya

Gayathry Venkiteswaran, Lecturer at University of Nottingham Malaysia

It will also be attended by civil society leaders such as:

Majidah Hashim from Sisters in Islam (SIS)
