Viral infographic call for “solat hajat and Yasin” for Dr Streram is BN’s work
RANTAU: PKR secretary general Datuk Saifuddin Nasution Ismail blamed the opposition, BN for a false viral infographic that called upon the Muslims to perform “solat hajat and Yasin” recital for Rantau PKR candidate, Dr S Streram.
“The infographic is aimed at playing with emotions and raising religious and racial sentiments that have long been the practice of Umno-BN and to mislead the people, especially the Malay voters in Rantau constituency,” he said.
“It is also to confuse the members of Keadilan and the people who will attend PKR’s 20th anniversary celebration at 8 pm at Dataran Rantau today,” Saifuddin who is also Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister in a statement.
Streram is involved in a four cornered fight with Umno’s acting president Mohamad Hasan and two independents R. Malarvizhi and Mohd Nor Yassin in the by-election to be held on April 13.
