PAC deputy chair is now SEDA chairman

KUALA LUMPUR: Public Accounts Committee deputy chair Wong Kah Woh have been appointed as Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA) chairman effective from 1 July. He replaced Datuk Ir Ahmad Fauzi Hasan who has been acting chairman for the past one year.
Wong who has been PAC deputy chair since last year is also a pracitising lawyer for the past 14 years and Ipoh Timor MP.
“As a MP he would be able to voice out his views and make recommendations towards policy making,” said the agency in a statement.
The agency noted Wong’s role in the corporate, banking and finance, real estate and commercial transactions, company take over, joint venture companies, loans and project financing and estate management.
He is also keen in serving the society since he is also a legal advisor to community associations who provided pro bono services in Perak.
