Number of flood victims in Perak remain at 308
IPOH: There are 308 victims from 79 families still housed at two temporary relief centres (PPS) as of 7.30 am today.
A Perak Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said as of 7.30 am today, the number of evacuees housed at the PPS Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Changkat Jong in Teluk Intan in Hilir Perak, remained at 231 people from 61 families.
“Meanwhile, the flood victims in the Kerian district, currently being sheltered at the SK Changkat Lobak in Selama, also remained unchanged at 77 people from 18 families,” he said in a statement today.
