Najwan Halimi to be questioned over gay sex video?

PUCHONG: PKR assemblyman for Kota Anggerik Najwan Halimi is expected to be questioned by the police over the gay sex clip that implicated Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali.

Federal CID director Comm Datuk Huzir Mohamed confirmed that a Selangor state assemblyman has been called to record his statement regarding this matter but stopped short of naming the assemblyman outright.

Najwan previously said that he was not involved in the sex video after his name cropped up after Inspector-General of Police Abdul Hamid Bador revealed that a Selangor state assemblyperson is also on their radar.

Though he was known to be aligned to Azmin, Najwan broke away during the party polls and contested for PKR Youth chief post, backed by Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz.

Haziq is the man in the video who implicated Azmin.

Hamid has confirmed that the video was authentic but failed to determine the people in the video.

The viralled video is linked to power play by certain politicians since there are speculations that Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad favours Azmin over PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to take over as the eighth prime minister.

Both Mahathir and Anwar have an understanding on power handover when the time comes but time frame has been fixed.
