Muhyiddin to announce new Cabinet later today

PUCHONG: Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin will announce the new Cabinet list today around 5pm at the Prime Minister’s office, after getting consent from the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.

Muhyiddin will meet the Agong today at around 11am to present the Cabinet list of the new government.

Muhyiddin was appointed as the new prime minister on Feb 29 and was sworn in on March 1 after Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s resignation.  

He served as the Deputy Prime Minister from 2009 till 2015 until he was removed by then-prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

The Pagoh MP was also former Umno deputy president.
