Muhammad Qayyim, Mariam to represent Kelantan at national-level Quran recital competition
KOTA BHARU, March 8: Visually-impaired Muhammad Qayyim Sarimi and Mariam Jusoh emerged the winner of the the men’s and women’s category, respectively, of the Kelantan-level 1440H/2019M Quran recital competition held at the Darulnaim Islamic Complex last night.
Muhammad Qayyim, from here, and Mariam, from Pasir Puteh, each took home RM10,000, an umrah package, accompanying gifts and a certificate.
They will represent Kelantan at the national-level competition to be held in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, between March 17 and 22.
