Missing three-year-old girl found dead in Langkawi, murder suspected

LANGKAWI : A three-year-old girl reported missing in February has been found dead in the Gunung Raya jungle area here on Wednesday (March 6), and is believed to have been murdered.

It was previously reported that Nur Aisyah was went missing while in the custody of a married couple, who initially could not be found.

The police launched a search for a 37-year-old man and his 40-year-old wife and picked up a married couple in Ampang, Selangor, on March 5 to assist in the investigation.

Perak: Online application for funds for NGOs coming soon

IPOH: Non-governmental organisations (NGO) in Perak will soon be able to apply for government funds online, says Hasnul Zulkarnain Abd Munaim.

The state Communication, Multimedia, NGO and Cooperatives Development Committee chairman said the funds could be applied through a web portal or a mobile app starting Apr 1.

Hasnul Zulkarnain said those eligible included NGOS for volunteerism, charity, sports and recreational.
