Khazanah to further pare down debt to RM35-RM40 bln
KUALA LUMPUR: Khazanah Nasional Bhd is to further pare down its debt to between RM35-RM40 billion from RM47 billion currently via continued assets disposal and investment sales activities, Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said.
The disposals and selling exercise to reduce Khazanah’s debt according to him, have proven successful before, as the country’s sovereign wealth fund has managed to lower its debt to RM47 billion from RM55 billion a year ago.
