Just attend meetings and sort it out

KUALA LUMPUR: PKR secretary general Datuk Saifuddin Nasution Ismail has dismissed efforts for reconciliation between the faction led by party deputy president Datuk Seri Azmin Ali who have been absent from weekly political bureau and monthly Central Leadership Council (MPP) meetings and party chief Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

“No, no so such thing as reconciliation. Just attend the political bureau meeting and the MPP meeting, then everything can be settled,” he said.

He was responding to vice president Zuraida Kamaruddin who claimed that Anwar had not yet entertain the multiple request to meet certain MPP leaders in a bid for reconciliation.

Saifuddin Nasution confirmed that one letter was delivered to Anwar, which the president replied within seven days.

“The letter was then physically handed back to the person who delivered it,” he added.

“No need to arrange for a separate meeting to meet Datuk Seri Anwar. Just come for the central leadership meetings if you want to pursue reconciliation,” he said.
