JAKARTA: Indonesian Religious Affairs Minister Fachrul Razi has recovered from COVID-19, reported Xinhua news agency, quoting Razi’s Special Staff member Kevin Haikalto on Thursday.
“The minister said he was happy and grateful to God over his recovery,” Haikalto said.
Currently, Razi has returned home and is undergoing a recovery process for the next few days.
Meanwhile, the implementation of his duties in the ministry is still carried out by the deputy minister and other officials.
The religious affairs minister tested positive for the COVID-19 after undergoing a swab test on Sept. 17.
