HINDRAF demands PH to fulfill 25 PH manifesto

BRICKFIELDS: About 100 individuals from the Hindu Human Rights Movement (HINDRAF 2.0) gathered at Jalan Tun Sambathan, Kuala Lumpur to celebrate the 12th anniversary. Supporters of the group have gathered since noon.

Hindraf chief P Uthayakumar demands Pakatan Harapan to fulfill 25 manifesto promises since winning the 14th General Election (GE14).

In a statement, police advised road users to refrain from parking their vehicles on the affected roads.

Among the closed roads are Thamby Abdullah Road towards Little India, Thamby Abdullah Road to Tun Sambanthan Road and Sultan Abdul Samad Road to Tun Sambanthan Road.

The public is advised to avoid the road and use alternative routes provided. Meanwhile, Rapid KL in a statement apologized to users following the 12 bus routes being closed.

“Dear customer, Rapid KL would like to inform that there is a road closure around Brickfields in conjunction with the HINDRAF rally.

“The routes involved are 600, 640, 650, 750, 751, 770, 772, 780, 781, 782, 821 and 822,”.
