Hari Raya on Wednesday

PUCHONG: Muslims in Malaysia will celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri tomorrow (June 5), the Keeper of the Rulers’ Seal Tan Sri Syed Danial Syed Ahmad announced last night.

“In following the decree by His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, after consent from the Malay Rulers, I hereby declare the date for Aidilfitri for all the states in Malaysia is Wednesday, June 5, 2019,” he said.

The announcement was broadcast live by local television stations.
