GV Ride Committed to a Stronger Comeback in Subang Jaya

SUBANG JAYA,October 27 — Local e-hailing operator GV Ride is taking steps to address recent feedback and concerns from users and drivers in the Subang area.

GV Ride Chief Executive Officer Kabeer Maand said the company acknowledges the challenges faced during its initial launch and has taken proactive measures to strengthen its operations, service quality, and driver engagement.

“Our focus now is on rebuilding trust and delivering real value to both drivers and passengers. We’ve learned from past mistakes, and this time, we’re coming back stronger — with a better system, enhanced support, and a more human-centred approach,” he said in a statement.

Kabeer added that the company has also reorganized its internal team by implementing stricter Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and introducing new initiatives to ensure a smoother user experience.

He said GV Ride remains committed to transparent communication and genuine community engagement as it prepares for its official re-entry into Subang.

Previously, GV Ride launched the “Free Rides Subang” campaign in April, offering free rides to residents and visitors around Subang Jaya.

Kabeer said the promotion was capped at a subsidy allocation of RM500,000, and would conclude once the amount was fully utilized.

He expressed hope that the initiative would benefit Subang Jaya residents by providing a convenient, safe, and reliable transportation option.

GV Ride is a growing Malaysian e-hailing platform committed to transforming the way people move — making daily travel more affordable, safer, and driver-friendly.

With a focus on innovation, reliability, and human-centered design, GV Ride strives to create a seamless experience for both passengers and drivers nationwide.
