Four killed in a mass shooting in California

LOS ANGELES: Four people were killed and six others were wounded in a mass shooting at a family gathering in Fresno, California, 350 km north of Los Angeles, yesterday.
Xinhua news agency reported quoting local police, the incident occurred at about 6pm local time (0200 GMT Monday), when about 35 people gathered in a resident watching football game.
Fresno Police Department deputy chief Michael Reed said initial information showed that an unknown shooter approached the house on foot, snuck into the backyard where the party was being held, and opened fire before fleeing the scene.
Reed said three victims were killed on scene, who are Asian males aged 20-35, and another died in hospital.
