Fahmi urges Malaysians to embrace ‘Aku Berjanji’, strengthen spirit of patriotism
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 18 — Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil has urged all Malaysians to listen to and embrace the National Day and Malaysia Day (HKHM) 2026 theme song titled “Aku Berjanji”.
In a post on his official Facebook page yesterday, Fahmi said the song, composed and performed by renowned singer Faizal Tahir, could further strengthen the spirit of love for the country.
Earlier, Fahmi received a visit from Faizal in Putrajaya, during which the singer also shared updates on his upcoming concert, scheduled for Oct 3 at Unifi Arena, Bukit Jalil.
“Faizal informed me about his concert, which will take place this October. I pray that it goes as planned,” he said.
Fahmi also said he received a visit from the Chief Executive Officer of the Malaysian Consultative Council for Islamic Organisations and international humanitarian figure, Datuk Dr Sani Araby.
