The Bangladeshis get their supplies from farms and sell at the market. The supplies are also sold at a low price to consumers. The locals are supportive of the move.
Most of the immigrants work as market helper too and help local owners to sell and buy vegetables.

“It is time the local authority did something to protect the traders inside the Selayang Market,” he said.
The locals are aware that the refugees were breaking the local council’s law but the large customer base is not helping authorities in clearing out the illegals.
