Evaluate PH after its completes its full term

PUCHONG: Evaluate Pakatan Harapan after it completes its full term of 5 years instead of evaluating PH with merely 20% of the full term, said former minister of international trade and industry, Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz.

“The report card only gauges PH for a year… not a full term of five years as government,” she said on Facebook.

“God willing, PH will fulfill the aspirations of the people before the people go out to vote in four years for the 15th general election,” she added.

She is also expecting Malaysians to continue judging PH’s achievements individually and collectively, steps taken, ongoing plans and other plans that would be implemented.

She added that the PH government inherited an administration of a nation in a sad state, courtesy of the previous government that ran Malaysia for about a decade, in a veiled reference to the administration of former prime minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

Without naming Najib outrightly, she said that the previous administration was straddled with corruption and breach of trust scandals which are being disclosed now.

She pointed out that in comparison, certain administrative system was rotten and its bureaucratic culture was tainted with negative values and administrators who are irresponsible and without accountability.

“In short, PH has a paralel agenda that needs to be tackled. there are things that can be immediately and there are those that needs to be studied in depth. There are new policies and approaches that needs to be studied deeply before it is implemented,” she explained.

For Malaysia to move forward, it needs an encouraging economic environment, peace and understanding among the people, she said.

She added that the economy needs to be strengthened and its growth should be felt by all of the people, especially those who are in the low income bracket.

“Together we shall think as Malaysians who shares the same hopes and aspirations.

“I pray for our Prime Minister Dr Mahathir (Mohamad) and the PH government is given guidance and blessings by Allah to return our country to its glory days,” she added.
