Coronavirus: Canadian teenager collapsed in KLCC, suspected positive

PUCHONG: A 17-year-old Canadian girl was sent to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) after fainting at KLCC, suspected of a new coronavirus (2019-nCoV).

Its Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad said he was informed of the matter today and was still waiting for the full HKL report.

“I just found out about it… the authorities, Hazmat (Special Forces Chemicals) team came in full and on alert.

“The patient has been taken to HKL. We will keep you updated on the case. Whatever we do we will continue to communicate with the people there,” he told a media conference in Putrajaya today.

Dr Dzulkefly commented on a photo posted on social media showing Hazmat and police members hovering at Tower 3, Petronas Tower, KLCC.

The Canadian teenager was earlier pronounced dead at the tower before being sent to HKL.
