Chinese tourists caught working in Semporna on visit passes; Tourism Ministry to handle issue
SEMPORNA, Oct 4 — The police have received five reports regarding Chinese nationals misusing their visit passes by working in Semporna.
Semporna District Police Chief Supt Mohd Sabri Zainol, in a statement today, said the reports were lodged by tourism operators in the district last Wednesday.
He said the matter had been referred to the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture for further action.
