Azmin has lost his credibility!

Threat of possible legal action against the state government by Senior Minister Mohamed Azmin Ali has been made recklessly.

The Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 (Act 342) seeks to uniformly prevent and control infectious diseases in Malaysia.

Several state governments have different views on balancing the risk of rising covid-19 cases compared to economic regeneration opportunities.

The confidence in the measures taken by the federal government is considered to be unacceptable because it has not been fully discussed in Parliament.

As a democratic country, Azmin has to accept the fact that he has lost his credibility in the role of minister since breaking the people’s mandate.

Even those affiliated with the Perikatan Nasional also criticized Azmin in addressing the crisis for failing to discuss, negotiate and seek consensus from all State Governments before the decision to reopen the economy was announced.

In view of these developments, it is appropriate for the country’s future to be discussed in parliament openly following the suggestion of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim along with other opposition members.
