According to Indonesia’s enforced social distancing rules, passengers have to sit in the back seat with only half the capacity allowed. Police later asked the woman to be sited in the back seat to adhere to the rules.
However, the order was not well received by the man who was dissatisfied and claimed the woman was his wife.
The incident came as a shock as the man’s actions for disobeying the order issued by the authorities.
“I don’t want to move my wife because if it’s okay to be together in the bedroom, so why sit/ in the car separately,” he said.
Meanwhile, Bogor City Traffic Chief Dody Wahyudin confirmed the incident and said the men had been asked to leave because they did not want the situation to get worse.
“He was reprimanded with a written notice, but got angry. So we asked him to go home,” he said.
