Adorable rare white lion cub makes first appearance
Sonja, a rare white lion born in the Szeged Zoo in Hungary on May 15, made its first public appearance on Friday.

A rare white lion, born in the Szeged Zoo in Hungary on May 15, made its first public appearance on Friday. Pictures of the female white lion cub were posted online by the zoo and are simply adorable.
Weighing 1.5kg, Sonja was born to Nadja, director of Szeged Zoo Robert Veprik told local reporters as per Chinese media. Sonja was born without complications while her weight has doubled since her birth.

Sonja’s father Timba has been separated from the cub and Nadja for a few weeks, Chinese media reported, adding that the family will reunite soon. If you want to catch a glimpse of Sonja, head straight to the lion’s house in the Hungary zoo.
