Absolut Bazaar x Festival Gaya Raya 2024 Recognised as “The Largest Raya Festival Expo” by Malaysia Book of Records
KUALA LUMPUR, April 2 —The closing ceremony of Absolut Bazaar x Festival Gaya Raya (ABGR) 2024 was celebrated with great success, officiated by Yang Berhormat Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul, Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry of Malaysia, marking the end of a vibrant and triumphant Raya festival.
In his closing remarks, YB Tengku Zafrul stated, “MATRADE continuously opens opportunities for entrepreneurs to expand internationally.”
He also remarked, “The presence and contribution of celebrities in this festival not only injects spirit among our entrepreneurs to progress and compete but also brings profound meaning about the strength and success of the entrepreneurial community in Malaysia.”
Sharifah Nadiyah, Co-Founder of Absolut Events, shared their vision, saying, “When we talk about the Raya festival, it has been our passion and mission to ensure that Absolut Bazaar Gaya Raya becomes the preferred Raya Festival for Malaysians!”
“We provide a ‘one-stop center’ where you can shop, break-fast at our Ramadhan bazaar, perform Tarawih prayers together, enjoy entertainment, and have Sahur here. Everything is provided in a comfortable environment for our visitors,” she added.
Datin Wira Sabrina Abdullah, Director of My Events International, stated, “Over the past 2 days, we have recorded more than a million visitors and expect to reach another 1 million on the final day of this Raya festival.”
She proudly announced that Absolut Bazaar x Festival Gaya Raya 2024 has been recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records as “The Largest Raya Festival Expo.” This recognition took place at the closing ceremony of ABGR, witnessed by Yang Berhormat Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul, the organisers, and the sponsors.
