Sabah Floods: two PPS in Keningau opened with 95 victims

KOTA KINABALU: Two temporary evacuation centres (PPS) have been opened in Sook, Keningau to accommodate 95 flood victims from 19 families, yesterday.

According to the Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) Sabah in a statement, the PPS were opened after two villages in Sook, namely Kampung Rancangan Belia Tiulon and Kampung Sook Pusat were flooded following continuous rain yesterday.

The main road to Kampung Rancangan Belia Tiulon was also affected. but, at the moment, the water level had begun to recede.
