60 cricket awardees honoured at the Malaysia Cricket Awards Night 2023

KUALA LUMPUR: In a bid to recognise the contributions of individuals and organisations that aided in the country’s cricket game, the Malaysian Cricket Association held 6th Malaysia Cricket Awards Night 2023 recently at Première Hotel, Klang.

The award ceremony, organised by The Malaysian Cricket Association (MCA) was officiated by Tan Sri Dato’ Sri (Dr.) Mohamad Norza Zakaria, President of the Olympic Council Malaysia.

The event serves as a platform to acknowledge and recognise the achievements of the 60 awardees.

“Recognition and appreciation are essential for nurturing talent and creating a positive environment that encourages growth and development”, said Mr. Mohammed Iqbal Ali Kassim Ali, President of the Malaysian Cricket Association in congratulating all award recipients for their commitment and hard work.

He also said such event plays a crucial role in recognising the efforts of players, coaches and other individuals involved in cricket, thereby motivating them to continue their hard work and strive
for excellence.”

Among the guests of honour at this awards night was Muda President Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman and Klang MP V.Ganabatirau.
