3,211 overseas Indonesians test positive for COVID-19

JAKARTA: As many as 25 more overseas Indonesians have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases in this group to 3,211, according to the Foreign Ministry on Tuesday.

Amongst the 25 new cases, 22 were reported in South Korea, two in the Netherlands and one in Bangladesh, reports Xinhua news agency.

The ministry said four more Indonesians out of the country have recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total recoveries to 2,317 or 72,2 per cent of the accumulative cases in this group.

Two recoveries were reported in the Netherlands and two others in South Korea.

Besides, 723 Indonesians abroad are still under medical treatment, and the death toll in this group remains 171.
