Health DG: Chemical in food grade plastic not harmful

KUALA LUMPUR: Health Ministry director general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the chemical compound ‘phthalate’ from plastic packaging is not at a harmful level. Hisham said his ministry, through the Food Safety and Quality Division (BKKM), has been monitoring
