COVID-19: Expand travel ban to select European nations – Najib

PUCHONG: Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak urged the new government to expand its travel ban to certain European nations, such as Spain, France and German to Malaysia due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a Facebook post, the Pekan MP said since last week, the spread of the coronavirus has widened to Europe, US and Middle East.

“This morning, the US has banned all flights from Europe for 30 days, Even India has stopped issuing visas and e-visas to all countries,” he said.

World Health Organization (WHO) yesterday has declared COVID-19 as a global pandemic as more than 100,000 are infected worldwide.
