Viral video: Doctors surprise Spanish taxi driver with claps and cash for giving free rides to patients
Spanish taxi driver was surprised with a big round of applause and a cash envelope by doctors at a hospital in Madrid for his act of kindness. The driver has been giving free rides to patients amid the novel coronavirus outbreak.
A video of this heartwarming moment is going viral on social media. The clip, which was shared by the Twitter handle of EI Taxi Unido, showed the man entering the hospital. As soon as he entered, the hospital staff honoured him with a loud applause. One person also handed him a cash-filled envelope for his selfless service.
This gesture left the man emotional and he could not stop crying. The driver did not have any idea about this as he was called on the pretext of picking up a patient.
The tweet below goes like this ” “It is a surprise that we have given a taxi driver who takes patients without charge to the hospital. We have given him an envelope with money and a dedication. We have called him to say that he had to make a transfer and it has been very exciting. He did not stop to cry.” Thanks to him and them.
