Dzulkefly: Health Ministry received 26 additional thermal scanners
PUCHONG: Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad today said that his ministry received 26 additional thermal scanners that will be used in screening for the coronavirus at all entry points into the country.
Dzulkefly said the additional thermal scanners will be placed especially at international entry points.
“The additional scanners are what we requested from the government before.
“With the additional scanners, we now have 80 thermal scanners that will be placed at all entry points into the country,” he said, at a press conference today.
In terms of headcount, Dzukefly said so far the number of confirmed coronavirus cases is still at 18.
“Three of the 18 cases have fully recovered,” he said.
