Anwar, who is also Finance Minister, said the government allocated RM9.36 million to 23 Islamic educational institutions in Kelantan in 2025, and approved an additional RM6.628 million this year to support 42 other institutions.
“I know my responsibility… while I have the opportunity and authority, I want to do the best I can so that people will perceive this administration, led by Muslims, as fair and wise, and does its best to elevate the dignity of the people and the nation,” he said in his speech at the ‘Sebarkan Salam@Kota Bharu Berselawat’ Programme held at the grounds of Masjid Muhammadi here last night.
Also present were the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs), Dr Zulkifli Hasan, and his deputy, Marhamah Rosli, as well as Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud.
