Asia Smart Farming & Food Security 2023 Gears Up to Transform the Agriculture Industry
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 21— Food security has grown to be of utmost importance in a time of fast technological advancement and changing agricultural landscapes. The Asia Smart Farming & Food Security 2023 (ASF 2023) is timely to be organised to enable technology and innovations to meet current agricultural needs. ASF 2023 will be held from 3-5 October, 2023, at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur.
The agriculture sector is still having low exposure of agriculture technology, especially in the implementation of IoT under IR4.0. ASF 2023 assures to provide the platform and avenue for agritech and farm owners to increase the availability of locallyproduced food products and create economic and social impact in terms of food affordability which is the key component of food security.
With the strong support of the Department of Agriculture (DOA), Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security Malaysia (MAFS) and a venue partnership with MITEC, this event is jointly organised by ABS Greentech Sdn Bhd and My Events International and coorganised with Dewan Perniagaan Melayu Malaysia (DPMM) is expected to revolutionise smart farming techniques throughout Asia. The event is expected to bring in a new era of innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth in the agricultural industry under the motivational tagline “Making Farming Attractive Again.”
