WASHINGTON, Jan 8 — President Donald Trump is withdrawing the United States from a foundational climate treaty and the main international scientific assessment body on global warming as part of a sweeping exit from the UN system, the White House announced yesterday.
A total of 66 global bodies were named in a White House memo as “contrary to the interests of the United States.”
